It is promoted through Facebook posts where they proudly “tag” their neighboring businesses, all in the name of building community and cross promoting each other’s offerings.Jessica Russell, owner of Tumbleweed Bead Co, took an example from another community and started offering Downtown Tuesday deals to her customers. With the help of Peggy “from the Pickle” Nichols, they have grown Downtown Tuesday to include iLa Yoga, Sun Dog Bead Co., Pak It Rite, the Wild Huckleberry Boutique in addition to Tumbleweed Shop & Studio and Pickle Papers.“Tuesday has become one of our busiest days,” said Jessica, owner. “We tell everyone who walks through our doors on Tuesday about our special and pretty soon, they are checking our Facebook page to see what it is we’re offering the following week.”Interested in participating?
