The 27th Annual Apple Century Bike Ride, sponsored by Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary, begins Saturday morning, June 7 - 8:00am at Walla Walla Point Park. Last year, over 700 cyclists joined in on the unique event. What makes it unique? For openers, riders have a choice of 25, 50 or 100 miles rides, in a non-competitive format. The 25 mile route goes to Cashmere and back. The 50 miler is a round trip to Leavenworth, with the 100 mile trek going to Lake Wenatchee and returning. The event is a fundraiser for the Challenge Scholarship Program. For more information on the Ride, including a link to map routes, click here.
