Whether your family is into sports, nature, puzzles or play, Wenatchee has a variety of activities to spark joy and curiosity for kids and grownups alike. Organized by interest, here are some of our favorite activities for the whole family.

For the Outdoors Lover

The Apple Capital Loop Trail

This scenic 10-mile paved loop follows the Columbia River and is perfect for biking, scootering, or strolling with kids. You’ll find playgrounds, public art, picnic spots, and plenty of opportunities to stop and explore.

Ohme Gardens (open April 15 – October 15)

Wander through lush pathways, waterfalls and rock gardens in this hilltop oasis. Kids will love the Gnome and Fairy Hunt, where they can explore the garden with a map in hand to find hidden magical creatures. Once you find everything on the map, you’ll be entered for the chance to win a prize!

Summer fun at the park

Pack a picnic and head to one of Wenatchee’s most beloved parks. Rotary Park and Lincoln Park feature seasonal splash pads – perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. Walla Walla Point Park sits on the river and offers open fields, playgrounds and swimming areas.

Annie’s Fun Farm

Looking for seasonal fruit? The fresh juicy kind? Annie’s has it all --  a fav for picking strawberries, blueberries, apples and more in season.

For the Curious- Minded

Rocky Reach Discovery Center

This interactive center offers hands-on exhibits that teach kids about hydropower, local fish and the Columbia River ecosystem. There’s even a viewing window to see salmon swimming through the fish ladder. Make sure to check out the cafe as well.

Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center

This interactive museum brings local history to life with hands-on exhibits and immersive displays. Seasonal family programs and rotating exhibits make every visit a unique experience.
