Apple Capital Loop Trail

www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/apple-capital-recreation-loop-trail

This is a 10-mile, paved loop on both sides of the Columbia River near Wenatchee. The trail was completed in 1990 by the Chelan County PUD, connecting residents in the area with nature right in their backyards.

The trail features an urban waterfront, as well as diverse natural habitats for wildlife in the area.

The multi-use trail is well-used by both recreators and commuters. Thousands of people use the trail each year, and it's accessible year-round; even in winters with heavy snow, cross-country skiers and snowshoers love this route.

Cross the Wenatchee River twice and the Columbia River once. Take particular note of the area where the Wenatchee River empties into the Columbia. There is riverfront beach access as it passes through several parks.

Many users enjoy this trail, so be sure to acknowledge and practice proper trail etiquette.

Lunch

Bomb Burritos

147 Easy Way #110

www.eatbombburritos.com

Growing up Angel, Christian (aka cheeks), and their father would sell burritos to the local orchards during the cherry harvest. Their mother would make the burritos, and they would go sell them. My mother always dreamed of having her own restaurant, but she’s now retired and is helping us with the recipes. We are a family-owned and operated burrito shop looking to provide authentic burritos and a pleasant, low-key bar top to enjoy some tequila and adult beverages.

After lunch

Ohme Gardens

3327 Ohme Rd

Natural stone pathways traversing hillside gardens, past breathtaking panoramic views, towering cedars and firs, lush foliage, mesmerizing waterfall, and tranquil pools.

We recommend good walking shoes to stroll around Ohme Gardens. Many of our pathways are narrow and rustic. Steps and uneven terrain prevent the use of wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers.  Tickets will be at will call when you arrive.
