Four routes that allow you to drive along our beautiful edible landscapes.

Route 1:  From Wenatchee, drive north on US 2, 17 miles to Orondo. Stunning views of the Columbia River and basalt cliffs. See orchards on either side of the highway. Blossoms are outstanding.  Further north arrive at Orondo Cider Works on US 2 also featuring produce, farm fund hard and soft ciders. Backtrack and return. Total Drive Time: 1 hr.

Route 2: From Wenatchee, drive west on US 2, 11 miles to Cashmere. There you will find two cideries tucked into surrounding orchards. Cashmere Cider Mill and Barnes Etc. Hard Cider Shed are both located at 5420 Woodring Canyon Rd. Complete your visit with a tour of Aplets and Cotlets confections in Cashmere. Backtrack. Total Drive Time: 40 minutes.

Route 3: From Wenatchee, drive west on US 2, 16 miles to the junction of US 97, Blewitt Pass. Visit Nicholson’s Orchard Fresh stand (in season) where you can enjoy the farm animals including Eeyore the donkey, who lives near a three generation family orchard at Campbell Rd and Hwy 97 Peshastin. Don’t miss Miller Orchards, est. 1905, on the east side of 97 as part of your backtrack. Total Drive Time: 50 minutes.

Route 4: From Wenatchee, drive to Leavenworth on US 2, 23 miles, via North Road side trip starting in Peshastin for stunning Cascade Mtn. views with working orchards and vineyards. Loop back on US 2 past Prey’s Fruit Barn and NCW’s farm fun destination, Smallwoods Harvest, both located on the highway. Total Drive Time: 1 hr. 10 minutes.
