The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center launched its Wildfires and Us Forest Classroom initiative on Monday at Squilchuck State Park and will host more than 2,000 students from around the region in coming weeks.Various stations are set up in the park for students to have a meaningful experiential learning experience. Noticing what is around them, talking about what they see and learning about the implications for wildfire is a critical part of the exhibit.This is the kind of learning kids can’t get in a book or in a regular classroom.
