Calling all runners, walkers and anyone looking to stretch their legs in an energetic and fun atmosphere. Mark your calendar for the Wenatchee Marathon on Saturday, April 18 for an athletic day with hundreds of other enthusiasts. Held at the start of apple blossom season, one of the most breathtaking times of year in the valley, this Boston Qualifier brings runners to the heart of Washington for the ultimate scenic running event for all experience levels.

A USATF-certified, Boston Qualifying event, the marathon features a newly designed, mostly flat course with no net elevation loss time penalties, making it an ideal option for athletes chasing personal records and qualifying times. The race begins and ends at the Wenatchee Convention Center Plaza in historic downtown Wenatchee, and winds through riverfront stretches of the Apple Capital Loop Trail with views of apple orchards bursting with beautiful pink and white blossoms.

With race options for every level, including a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), and 5K (3.1 miles), the Wenatchee marathon is truly an all-ages, all-experience levels event. Walkers are also invited to participate in all race categories and will be given an early start time.

Beyond the race, the Wenatchee Marathon features live music, a beer garden for guests 21+, food trucks, vendor booths, and a designated kids’ play area. Spectators can also follow participants using live, on-course runner tracking throughout race day.

Produced by TedDriven, an endurance event organization supporting cancer research and local nonprofits, proceeds from the event benefit the Fred Hutch Cancer Center and other community partners, so every mile run helps fuel meaningful impact.

Make a weekend of it while you’re here. Beyond race day, Wenatchee offers endless ways to stretch your legs, from riverfront views on the Apple Capital Loop Trail to trail running adventures in the Wenatchee Foothills and Sage Hills. Come for the race, stay for the views, and experience Wenatchee in its most vibrant season.
