The 25th Washington Winter Games Special Olympics take place across the Wenatchee Valley this weekend. Approximately 1250 athletes, plus volunteers and spectators will be in the area beginning Friday night, with the Opening Ceremonies at Town Toyota Center beginning at 7:00. Then the competitions begin Saturday morning, running through Sunday afternoon. All events are free to the public, so we invite everyone to check out what truly is a very special weekend for our valley. Here is a link to the schedule of activities.
