November 3, 2014 – Wenatchee, WA: The Woods Family Music and Arts Fund has awarded a $5000 grant to the Numerica Performing Arts Center and La Pera Radio to co-present Sebastien de La Cruz with Mariachi Huenachi for a MARIACHI EXTRAVAGANZA on Saturday, November 8 at 7:30pm at the Numerica PAC."America's Got Talent" gave national exposure to Texas' "golden cowboy," Sebastien de La Cruz, as he advanced to the quarter finals of Season 7. Sebastien has performed with Mariachi Sol de Mexico, and opened for the internationally acclaimed Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán and Pepe Aguilar in Las Vegas. In 2013, Sebastian sang the Star Spangled Banner during the NBA finals, and after a downpour of racist remarks, followed with a more passionate encore rendition that made headlines. Sebastien has been singing mariachi music since the age of five, and, in just six years, has proven himself to be among the best young mariachi vocalists in the USA.The Woods Family Music and Arts Fund grant has allowed the Numerica PAC to slash ticket prices to the event. Tickets to the Mariachi Extravaganza are only $10.
