Local businesses are the heartbeat of the Wenatchee community, and the valley has recently welcomed three new establishments that not only add to the city's charm but also exemplify the unique and diverse offerings that local entrepreneurs bring to the table. From dragon-inspired pizza to an ice cream “taco”, there's a lot to explore.

Let's celebrate these new additions, savor the local flavors, and continue to champion the spirit of community by supporting our neighborhood businesses.

1. King Pizza: A Slice of Downtown Delight

Located at 30 S. Wenatchee Ave., Suite 2B, King Pizza is the brainchild of Cris Forrest, Marc Hart, and Tessa Moore, all of whom boast experience in the culinary world. This downtown pizzeria and bar offer a delectable signature sourdough pizza accompanied by classic cocktails, beer, and wine.

The menu features creative pizzas like the "Dragonarchy"– a delightful mix of pepperoni, sausage, fresh garlic, jalapeno, oregano, and red sauce. Another standout is the "Pear Force" with prosciutto, pear, gorgonzola, fresh basil, and an olive oil base. King Pizza takes pride in making all its dough in-house, ensuring a fresh and authentic dining experience. King Pizza is open Tuesday through Sunday, 5-9 pm.

2. Zully’s Rolled Ice Cream: Handcrafted Sweets

For those with a sweet tooth, Zully’s Rolled Ice Cream at 112 N Mission St offers a deliciously sweet experience. Specializing in rolled ice cream, each treat is mixed by hand directly on freezing pans. Whether in a cup or a taco-shaped waffle cone, customers can choose from a variety of fillings such as Nutella and marshmallow fluff. Signature creations like "Berry Blast" feature raspberry and kiwi, and "S’mores Delight" contains marshmallow cream, Hershey's syrup, and graham cracker. Each rotating menu item showcases the creativity behind every roll.

Zully’s also caters to coffee enthusiasts and those seeking a refreshing kick with blended Red Bull drinks. Zully’s is open every day of the week, Monday through Thursday from 4-8 pm and Friday through Sunday from 1-8 pm.

3. Pear UP Cider's Orchard Tasting Room: A Sip of Local Excellence
